This movie "It's Kind of a Funny Story" is a great movie. Keir Gilchrist plays a teenager that deals with depression. At the beginning of the film we see that his depression get's so bad that he wants to commit suicide. After thinking about it for a while he decides to get help and calls the suicide hotline. He then goes to the hospital and asks that he would be omitted to the ward. He gets omitted but the teen ward had been closed for reconstruction or something of the sort so he has to go to adult ward.
In the adult ward he meets Zach Galifainakis' character and also meets Emma Robert's Character. They become friends and the rest is up for you to watch and see what happens. For me however, this movie was great. While yes there are funny parts, this movie I think is more of a teenage, coming of age type of movie that teens can relate to. I enjoyed it and felt that the writer and director did a great job with this one. It is by far one of my favorite movies of all time!
