Heartbreaker

I recently watched a French romantic comedy movie called Heartbreaker. I’ve seen this movie a few times. My mom is a French teacher, so she has a lot of French films. She has shown me a lot of French movies that I probably would have never seen or heard about without her. The film Heartbreaker stars Romain Duris and Vanessa Paradis. The story is about a guy named Alex (Duris) and his sister who run a business that break up unwanted relationships. They’re hired by different couples loved ones to sabotage their relationship. Alex is hired by a man who believes his daughter, Juliette (Paradis) is going to marry the wrong one and Alex has ten days to break Juliette and her fiancé up. This movie was really predictable, pretty much like every romantic comedy and to me, it had a similar feel to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. It was one of those movies where you have to sit back, watch it, and not think too much about it because it wasn’t spectacular, however, I was entertained throughout the film. The movie takes place in France so you get to see awesome scenery throughout the film.
