I think it's safe to say we all know what Dragon Ball Z is, but not many can say we know what "abridged" means. In regards to a TV show, it's usually a re-dubbing in an effort to make the series more humorous while still following the main storyline. One of the best parts of this particular abridged series is its brand name. The abridged series below is make by Team Four Star, a group of YouTubers who all participate to make these kind of episodes. Their humor is often subtle hard to get, but when you do, you'll laugh your butt off.
I've never actually watched the original DBZ series, only the TFS version. And now, having watched said version, I can't stand the humorlessness of the original. Rather, having watched only a little of the same scenes in the original as I have in the abridged, I feel the characters are sometimes portrayed much better than they are in the original.
Regardless of how well characters are portrayed, you will no doubt love the humor!
