Catching Fire was HAWT

Over break and on opening night, I seen The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, along with everyone and their sister. I absolutely loved this movie, it was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while at the theater. This film was apparently extremely accurate to the book, but not being much of a reader myself, I have not read the books yet I still enjoyed the movie a ton. And maybe that because I didn't read the book, I found the movie to be incredible because I was surprised at every turn and just did not see anything that was coming whatsoever. I am a person who can get a lot more out of seeing a movie rather than reading a book.

I also found that this film did a fantastic job at evoking emotion from the audience, I could always feel how the character was feeling which is something that is extremely important in a film, otherwise, the film will be comedic and I know thats not what The Hunger Games was going for. All of this being said, I’m very excited and pumped for part one of “Mockingjay” to arrive on the big screen sometime in late November of next year and then part two the following year. I feel as though I’m deeply invested in this series and yet I have not read the books, I think maybe, after I’ve seen all of the movies, I may just have to pick up the first book and give it a whirl.
