Watsky - Tiny Glowing Screens Part 2

Watsky is known for his video "Pale Kid Raps Fast". He is a funny guy but what I really like about home is when he gets serious. He does a lot of spoken word and has even gotten some recognition on HBO for it.

I love this video and I find it to be incredibly powerful. It really makes you think about how important you are in this world. We really should be insignificant with so many others here with us but we still think we are important. Watsky for sure gets you thinking but for me when I got to thinking about it I really didn't agree. I believe we all have a purpose and God wants big things for us and its this attitude of "Oh maybe I'm not actually important" that is the biggest thing standing in our way from actually doing something with our lives.

Watsky goes on to say how he thinks he matters too and he knows it isn't true but he prefers it to the alternative. He wants to believe that one single person can make a difference and that that one person could be him but when he looks at the numbers, it just doesn't add up.

I look at the numbers and I see that it shouldn't add up but I also think about God and why he would stick each and everyone of us on this planet and how I know he has a plan and if we believe it we can help it move forward. I don't have the audacity to think I matter but, I have the faith to believe the things God does through me will.
