Jesus Toast

We have all seen it before the iconic images of “Jesus” burnt into a piece of toast or the last potatochip that happened to be in the shape of Jesus’s head. Not to mention the times when that special piece of of toast makes it on the news or is sold on ebay for hundreds of dollars. (As a meer person of mischief I would eat the toast and send only the leftover crust to the buyer. (Ehehehehe oh..)) It often baffles me how often times we waste our time on such petty matters such as Jesus toast. Yet sometimes those petty matters are what makes life great. I dont think I would ever spend a dime on a piece of Jesus toast for two reasons. One, it is just toast with a face that probably isn't jesus’s face, its just something we have proposed to be what he looks like, and two I feel the need to never try and treasure an object that has Jesus’s face on it because he is not of this world.
This short film toys with this idea in quite a witty and unexpected way. When I saw the title my curiosity was peaked. I am always curious to see how people approach themes of touchy subjects such as religion. This short film dances gracefully on the fine line of humanities truth.
