Maybe next year

Last week I had the privilege to see Sean and Sam both perform in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It is a musical performance that was shown at the MCA. The story is about the struggle of boys becoming men as well as the idea of letting love grow before marriage. I had personally not seen it before, so the story was very fun to see unravel.
Sean and Sam were 2 of the 7 brothers. The humor they brought to the play was very evident. Sean jumping over an ax just to show up another guy. Sam being the brother that didn’t want to learn how to be a man that women would respect. All great acting among the cast. The music was my favorite part though. I know two of the people who were in the pit playing instruments. The two main singers of the show were great as well. Stage presence is not easy when you have that many people watching every move you make.

I would like to congratulate Sean and Sam on their success in the show. I hope to see them continue to bless us with their great performances. I do understand that it is very time consuming. That is what kept me from being in the play. I still wish I had done it, but no way to go back now. Maybe next year?
