Story telling started in Greece centuries of years ago. The Greeks started to do it once they got a very complex language that was enough to transmit their traditions to the future generations. The Greeks where the ones that went deeper than any other civilization in the story telling. They transmitted what they were to their generations to come through their words. Since then Story telling was telling who we are. The statement that story tellers don’t tell stories, but they tell themselves comes alive. We talk about what we are. Our words are the main tool to express ourselves (there are other tools too, but we are used to use our words more often than any other thing because it is the most easy to use, yet one of the most powerful ones). Words are powerful, they can built something or destroy it depending on how you use them, so use them wisely. It is like saying you are what you eat… or you are what you thought…
Know that I think about it, history is not that bad. Through it we can go back to our roots where things began and explore more over it to get a better understanding of it.
Luke 6:45 good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good;
and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of
the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
