Six Shooter (Spoilers)

I just watched the short film “Six Shooter”. I thought it was incredible. I really loved it but the content is not something I would recommend to anybody. It has a great deal of language and a lot of violence. It all helps tell the story but it is a bit over the top. It is an Irish black comedy about a hand full of strangers that meet on a train. They don't know it but they all had a family member die the night before. One of them (the kid) is constantly stepping on the toes of the rest and egging them on about the deaths of their family members.
The main character, Donnelly, had his wife die at the beginning and another woman throws herself off the train because of the harassment she dealt with from the kid. After these two events the main character and the kid get into a short discussion about God and Donnelly says he can't believe in God after what had happened that day. He is the only one in the film that decides he doesn't believe in God. At the end after most everybody else has died he attempts to kill himself and accidentally drops the gun and it wastes his last bullet. This is partially why it is a black comedy. The last kind of “joke” is that he was the only one that didn't believe in a higher power but at the end it seemed as if his life was saved by a sort of divine intervention.
I thought it was a great film and it actually won the Oscar for best short film in 2005. It is however fairly explicit throughout, so I will warn you to watch at your own discretion.
