We went to see a film called Gravity, and I have to say it was absolutely stunning. The way it was filmed and some of the scenes were gorgeous, and I found that this movie was different because it used a lot of silence to portray events rather than intense background music. Mind you, there were times I was at the edge of my seat from the suspense, but there were other times in the movie that were calm and quiet but still drove the story forward.
It was a film about astronauts in space, and I went into the movie wondering how the heck they were going to make a captivating film out of this idea. I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't really talk about the plot, but just know that it was awesome.
I'd have to say it was the second most beautiful film I've seen (Life of Pi is an easy first), but it's beautiful in a different way. It's captivating and stunning and the way the camera moved really captured a zero- gravity experience, and I was super impressed! Go see it!
I didn't realize we had to have a picture on every blog so I'm just putting this in here
